AHEC Scholars: Apply May 1 - Oct 15, 2023

A two-year program designed to enhance and broaden a student’s healthcare training through annual didactic and team-based community health or clinical field placement experiences in rural and underserved areas.

A summer internship experience in partnership with Wisconsin health departments, tribal health centers, community health centers and community service organizations.

Community Health Immersion (formerly Wisconsin Express)

A multi-day immersion experience designed to give students an opportunity to study firsthand the diverse local and regional healthcare innovations and challenges in Wisconsin communities.

Advocates in Medicine Pathway (AMP): Apply Aug 1 - Nov 1, 2023

A semester-long program that provides Hmong and rural students professional development and enrichment to prepare them for medical school and beyond. Offered through our North Central AHEC Center.
