Wisconsin Loan Repayment Programs

The Wisconsin Health Professions Loan Assistance Program is available to primary care providers (MD, DO, NP, PA and CNM), dentists and dental hygienists who agree to practice in health professions shortage areas. The National Health Service Corps offers loan repayment assistance to primary health care professionals who agree to practice at least two years in a designated rural or urban HPSA. An NHSC loan can provide up to $50,000 for a two-year obligation. The Wisconsin Primary Care Program helps providers and clinics by providing information and helping with the application process.
