Virtual Reality (VR) Simulations

Our North Central and Northeastern AHEC teams are partnering with Transfr to offer virtual reality simulations of various health careers for students ages 14-21 through out-of-classroom programming. Through this innovative approach, students will have the opportunity to explore various health careers and develop and achieve mastery of skills needed in patient seeing health careers.

Career Exploration: Available in five minute simulations, students will be able to explore careers such as an EMT, Registered Nurse, Surgical Technologist, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant, Radiologic Technologist, and Certified Registered Nurse.

Virtual Healthcare Clinic: Focusing on multiple patient care foundations, students can practice and achieve mastery of different skills needed in many hands-on, patient seeing care. Simulations cover a variety of skills and range in time from fifteen minutes to an hour long.
